Mission

Identifying solutions to problems in a complex, globalized world requires unusual sensitivities and determination. Akita International University, by its distinct liberal arts approach, has a mission to produce future leaders who will contribute to world peace.

  • Get fully integrated with Japanese students by living together on campus

※ The Japanese academic calendar starts in April and ends in March. The majority of Japanese students, therefore, are admitted in April.
