AIU has been recognized as one of the top universities in Japan for its uniqueness and innovative approach. Since its establishment in 2004, the university has been highly reputed and received constant attention from the public.

As a leading Liberal Arts University in Japan, we place emphasis on well-rounded human education. As a result, the university is also known for the high employment rate of its graduates.

AIU was introduced in “Touyou-Keizai: Hontou-ni Tsuyoi Daigaku” as being the highest level of all universities of international studies.

Also, AIU was introduced in “Shu-kan Diamond : Shushoku ni Tsuyoi Daigaku Ranking” as having the third-highest employment rate among all universities, and the highest among public universities.

In 2011, AIU received a grant for the Re-Inventing Japan Project from MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in Japan), the first case for Japanese Public University.
