Why don't I become a Sushi chef today?
October 27, 2009
On Sunday, October 25, 2009, international students at Akita International University were invited by a local organization, comprised of sushi professionals, to learn how to make Sushi, now a world-renowned Japanese cuisine.
A total of 21 international people living in Akita City took part in the event and enjoyed making sushi. The following is a brief photo gallery of the sushi lecture:
First, the demonstration by sushi teachers.
Everybody was very serious!
Next, teachers actually showed how to make sushi.
Cutting sushi is far more difficult than you imagine!
These look like professionals, don’t they?
Looks great enough to whet one's appetite…
Thank God, sushi tasting time, finally!
In cooperation with local organizations and people in the community, Akita International University sponsors these intercultural activities and community outreach programs for international students studying at AIU.
