Open the Sliding Door to Experience Japan:
Alluring New University Brochure Released!

Akita International University’s new brochure for international students has just been completed with the latest information about studying abroad in Japan and in Akita.

A quarter-opened Japanese-style sliding door beckons you to explore more!
The cover page illustrates the Japanese style sliding door, fusuma. Defining the room in dim light beyond the sliding door as your study abroad experience at Akita International University, it invites readers of the brochure to open it and experience Japan firsthand.

The new brochure consists of four main sections: Japan and Akita, academic curriculum, student life, and admissions. These four categories in the new brochure are expressed through the beautiful four seasons in Akita. Highlighting abundant characteristics that AIU has to offer, it helps you imagine your study abroad experience in Japan.
A set of distinctive colors indigenous to Japan (see the sample below) are also used throughout the brochure to show a feel of Japan:
