First Student Journal of International Liberal Arts Published!

April 19, 2010

"What we have noticed is distinction in thinking critically about global issues
and a commensurate ability to express that thinking in writing...
"

Al Lehner, Kirby Record, Laura Kobata
Faculty Advisors

In April 2010, Akita International University published its first Student Journal. It is a testament to Akita International University students’ abilities to think deeply about complicated global issues and express their opinions in English. That the contributors composed such well-written and researched articles is all the more impressive considering English is not their native language.

The contributors, editors, and faculty advisors of the Student Journal are proud to share their work with the world.
