Hong Kong Baptist University Joins Our International Network!
Akita International University signed a student exchange agreement with Hong Kong Baptist University. The number of our partner institutions has grown to 111, spreading across 31 countries and regions around the world.
Hong Kong Baptist University was established in 1956 as Hong Kong Baptist College, a private institution; it became a public institution in 1983. In 1994, the college achieved university status and was renamed Hong Kong Baptist University. Currently, Hong Kong Baptist University has six departments: literature, business, medicine, communication, natural sciences, and social sciences. Approximately 5,000 students study at the university.

As institutions cherishing international education, Hong Kong Baptist University and Akita International University respectively have common partner institutions around the world such as, Jilin University and Wuhan University (China), Masaryk University (Czech), University of Macau, the University of Bergen (Norway), Ateneo de Manila University (the Philippines), and Linnaeus University (Sweden).
