The regular members, graduates of AIU, will conduct the General Meeting. There are two main purposes for holding a General Meeting. One is for the Regular Members to discuss the budget, exchange opinions, and give approval. Another purpose is for the Regular Members to get together and mingle, since it is hard to have an occasion like that. The General Meeting will be held once a year. The Alumni Board of Directors will announce the time and place (For details, refer to Article 7 of the Rules of the Association).
The Board Members comprise the executive organ of "Global Arch." It is the organization that decides the budget, settles accounts, make changes in the constitution and elects the Board Members. A Chairperson, a Vice-Chairperson, a Controller and a secretary form the Board. A meeting will be held more than once a year, generally. Decisions made at the meetings will be reported to the General Meeting and discussed. That decision will be reflected to the Board Members and in the end, it will be reflected in all activities conducted by "Global Arch" (For details, refer to the Article 7).
The Pipe Committee is a network that encourages Regular Members and Associate Members, the present students at AIU, to support the activities of "Global Arch." As a general rule, Associate Members should be elected so that there is more than one from each year and each gender. Their activities will be in various ranges that include: supporting the Regular and Board Members' activities from the Associate Members' standpoint, reflecting the Associate Members' opinions to "Global Arch," plan and run activities the Associate Members want to do independently, as "Global Arch," with support from Regular Members.
